The Combat Troodon out the front automatic knife by Microtech is a substantial tool popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. Its size lends itself to many tougher situations while remaining slender enough to keep on your person daily. Named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and ready to strike.
Brand new item directly from Microtech Knives, USA.
The Blade: The Tanto profile is highly functional for most every day and tactical applications is finished with a bright satin finish and 3.75 inches of razor sharp cutting edge. Bohler's M390 blade steel was chosen for its ability to hold an edge and its highly corrosion resistant properties. It is engaged via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the side thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth.
The Handle:Hard anodized OD Green, the 6061-T6 aluminum handle offers 5.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest or gloved hands. It has a smooth feel with machined grooves perfectly placed on both outer sides. It is built with Microtech's standard proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and blasted grey pocket clip. Each is individually numbered and dated on the front of the handle.
