The Microtech Combat Troodon out-the-front automatic knife is a substantial cutting tool popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. Named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age, the Combat Troodon is ready to strike. This version features a satin finished M390, standard single edge blade and purple hard anodized aluminum handle.

Blade: The blade is a utilitarian, clip point profile useful for both utility and tactical applications. The premium M390 blade steel comes with a brilliant, satin finish that is clean and pleasing to the eye. M390 was chosen for its edge retention and corrosion resistant properties. It is engaged via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the side thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth. 

Handle: Hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum offers nearly 5 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest of gloved hands. It has a smooth feel with machined grooves perfectly placed on both outer sides for solid traction. Construction is completed with proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip. Each knife is individually numbered and dated on the front of the handle.

A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
