The Combat Troodon out-the-front automatic knife by Microtech is a substantial tool popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. Its size lends itself to many tougher situations while remaining slender enough to keep on your person daily. Named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and ready to strike. This version comes with an Apocalyptic CTS-204P Tanto blade and distressed red anodized handles.

Blade: The Tanto profile is highly functional for every day and tactical applications is finished with a rugged blasted and tumbled "Apocalyptic" finish and provides 3.75 inches of razor sharp cutting edge. American CTS-204P offers excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance as well as relative ease of sharpening. Operation is fast and smooth via the double action automatic mechanism. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.

Handle: Distressed, red hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum offers 5.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest or gloved hands. It has a smooth feel with machined grooves for traction and a unique, "broken in" look. It is built with Microtech's Apocalyptic proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip. Each is individually numbered and dated on the front of the handle.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up only, stainless steel pocket clip.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler's M390.
