The Microtech Dirac takes the contours of the Halo, the size of the UTX-85 (just a bit smaller) and a top slide design and blends them together for a fantastic new every day carry auto from Microtech Knives. The double edge and top slide combination also make this Dirac fully ambidextrous, perfect for right or left-handed users! This all-black 'Tactical' version comes with black hardware, handles and CTS-204P Double Edge blade with one plain and one fully serrated edge.

Blade: Equipped with a black poly-ceramic Cerakote coated finish, the double edge blade has two razor sharp cutting edges: one plain for clean slicing and one fully serrated edge to make short work of tough, fibrous materials. Made from high performance, American CTS-204P stainless steel the sub-3 inch blade features a double action automatic mechanism for fast, smooth operation. Simply move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. The top slide position reduces the need for readjustment for operation. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: Smooth and contoured, black hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum delivers an ergonomic and comfortable feel in-hand as well as a visually appealing shape. Several sections of machine-grooved texturing around the outsides enhance traction in hand. Construction is completed with Microtech's Tactical Black proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with serial number and date of production.

Carries via an ambidextrous, tip-down, stainless steel deep carry clip.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, the steel contains a large volume of extremely hard vanadium carbides which provide excellent wear resistance. CTS-204P has some of the highest chromium content of a high-vanadium stainless steel currently available. The chromium-rich matrix provides outstanding corrosion resistance. Analogs to CTS-204P include CPM-20CV and Bohler M390.
