The California Legal Exocet is a dual action mini out the front automatic knife from Microtech that's one of the most friendly for everyday carry. This version has an OD Green contoured handle and a black coated plain Double Edge Bohler M390 stainless blade.

Blade: Made from high performance, Bohler M390 stainless steel, the double edge blade has two razor sharp plain cutting edges measuring at just under 2 inches. The blade provides high-end edge retention and corrosion resistance which is further enhanced by the black poly-ceramic Cerakote coating which is also discreetly non-reflective. The sub-2 inch blade features a double action opening and retracting mechanism. Simply move the thumb slide on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear. The action is smooth and fast.

Handle: Smooth, OD Green coated 6061-T6 aluminum has rounded edges with texturing holds creating not only a comfortable feel in-hand but a smooth transition in and out of your pocket. The bonus widened "money" pocket clip adds a bit of gentleman to this OTF automatic. Ergonomic and contoured, the handle's construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary hardware, looped hole end knocker and clip with individual serial number/date of production.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
