The Microtech Hawk Auto revives the iconic 1996 design with 21st Century updates and aesthetics for a sleeker finish and increased functionality. This Signature Series version features a piercing Hawkbill karambit blade with black DLC coated, American CTS-204P stainless steel, matching hardware, and black hard anodized aluminum handles with carbon fiber inlays.

Blade: The Hawk sports a claw-like 3.95-inch blade of premium CTS-204P stainless steel with aggressive style. High saber grind, top swedge and thick spine deliver robust, tactical performance while the flats feature weight-reducing cutouts with a futuristic style. The point-tapering grind offers an excellent combination of strength and cutting performance while the tip point offers powerful piercing capabilities while retaining a high level of toughness. The blade opens lightning quick via the large, high traction button actuator. This limited version comes with durable Diamond-Like Carbon or DLC coating on the entire blade along with the Microtech Talon logo.

Handle: Constructed of durable, black hard anodized aluminum, the handles are lightweight and tough with a discreet matte finish and handsome carbon fiber inlays for a premium feel. A finger choil and arched back deliver security in the hand in any position along with a jimped thumb ramp and jimping along both the top and bottom of the tapered pommel end. The same button that deploys the blade also disengages the rock solid plunge lock that delivers security in use. The Hawk is completed with black DLC coated Torx hardware, pocket clip and hardened steel glass breaker insert.

Carries via a right hand, tip-down, stainless steel pocket clip.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, the steel contains a large volume of extremely hard vanadium carbides which provide excellent wear resistance. CTS-204P has some of the highest chromium content of a high-vanadium stainless steel currently available. The chromium-rich matrix provides outstanding corrosion resistance. Analogs to CTS-204P include CPM-20CV and Bohler M390.
