The Microtech Knives Troodon out the front automatic knife is a substantial tool while still retaining a compact size that can be easily carried every day. Now available in sub-2 inch blade Mini version, the Troodon offers a compact cutting tool with lightning fast deployment. Named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age, the Mini Troodon is ready to strike. This Tactical version comes with a black anodized aluminum handle, matching hardware and black M390 double edge blade.

Blade: The sub-2 inch double edge blade has dual razor sharp plain cutting edges for clean slicing performance. Non-reflective black Cerakote is durable and discreet, subtly contrasting with the satin flats for a classy two-tone look. Double action automatic operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Press the slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.

Handle: Offering a solid three finger grip, the black hard anodized aircraft-grade aluminum handle is durable and lightweight with contoured edges for comfort. Strategic jimping and milling on the flats offer traction for a secure grip. Proprietary tactical black hardware, glass breaker end and serialized pocket clip complete the construction.

Carries via a right-hand stainless-steel deep carry clip.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high carbide content for some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance, while being relatively easy to sharpen. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives. Relatively high carbide volume and coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
