The Microtech Socom Alpha is a heavy duty tactical fixed blade ready for the field. This tactical design has all the classic features you would expect from Microtech including proprietary hardware, a razor sharp edge and precision fit and finish. This version comes with a contoured black G10 handle and partially serrated, stonewashed M390 clip point blade.

Blade: The long clip point blade is saber ground for a balance of strength and cutting performance. Heavily tumbled, the stonewashed finish is rugged which hides wear from use and carry. This finish also reduces reflectivity for more discreet use. Premium Bohler M390 delivers high-end corrosion resistance and edge retention.

Handle: The full tang blade supports 3D machined and contoured black G10 handle scales that are securely attached with proprietary hardware. The spine is proud to the scales for a more ergonomic feel while full jimping all the way around the handle on both the scales and spine deliver optimal traction in the hand. A hole at the pommel end allows for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a molded carbon fiber pattern Kydex sheath with locking DOTS belt clip.

A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
