The Microtech Socom Elite offer the high-end performance Microtech is known for in a manual operation, full-size tactical folder . This version features a powerful Tanto point blade in stonewash finished Bohler M390 and OD Green aluminum handles with black traction inserts.

Blade: The Socom Elite sports a beefy 4-inch blade of Bohler's high performance M390 with a rugged stonewash finish. The high height saber grind offers an excellent combination of durability and slicing performance while the Tanto point delivers both toughness and exceptional piercing power. The blade is fast and smooth on a ceramic ball bearing pivot and is deployed via generous dual thumb studs for decisive action.

Handle: Constructed of aircraft grade aluminum the handles are both light weight and tough, finished in an OD Green hard anodization for a discreet look. Black traction inserts deliver security in the hand along with a jimped thumb ramp and jimping along both the top and bottom of the tapered pommel end. An inset titanium liner lock mechanism delivers solid and reliable lock up and smooth operation thanks to the hardened steel insert. The Socom Elite is completed with satin finished, titanium Torx Hardware and hardened steel glass breaker insert.

Carries via a right hand, tip-down pocket clip.

Each Socom Elite is individually serialized and dated on the front of the blade. 

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
