Blade: Equipped with a Bronzed PVD coated finish, the Double Edge blade is made from high performance Bohler M390 stainless steel and comes equipped with dual, razor sharp plain edges. PVD coated a striking bronze color the blade is then tumbled giving it a rugged yet visually appealing look that also helps to hide wear from use. The 3.44 inch blade features a double action opening and retracting mechanism. Fast, smooth, automatic action comes from a press of the thumb slide on the side of the handle: up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: Smooth, OD Green anodized 6061-T6 aluminum has contoured edges for a comfortable feel in-hand and smooth transition in and out of your pocket. Several areas of machine-grooved texturing around the outsides enhance traction in the hand while the contoured design offers reduced weight for carry in addition to aesthetic and ergonomic upgrades. Handle construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip, all with matching Bronzed finish. Clip is marked with individual serial number/date of production.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
