This version has a purple aluminum handle and Apocalyptic M390 double edge blade with matching hardware.

Blade: The sub-2.5 inch double edge blade has dual, razor sharp plain edges with a rugged matte blasted and tumbled Apocalyptic finish on the grinds. The blade delivers clean slicing performance, while the dagger like tip pierces with ease. Action is fast and smooth thanks to the double action automatic mechanism. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: The smooth, hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle has chamfered edges for comfort and smooth pocket transitions with strategic jimping for a sure grip. Slimmer than the Ultratech or UTX-85, the UTX-70 can be carried in a watch pocket or shirt pocket as well as via the clip. Construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production.
