The UTX-70 (15% smaller than the UTX-85) is a dual action mini out the front automatic knife from Microtech that's one of the most friendly for everyday carry. The diminutive size is perfect for watch pocket or even key ring carry. This Signature Series version has a contoured, black anodized aluminum frame, Jade Green G10 composite top and a black coated, plain, CTS-204P double edge blade: one plain, one fully serrated.

Blade: Equipped with a durable, non-reflective, Black poly-ceramic Cerakote coating, the double edge blade has two razor sharp cutting edges: one clean slicing plain and one fully serrated for tough, fibrous materials. The dagger-like blade is made from high performance, American CTS-204P stainless steel. The sub-2.5 inch blade features a double action opening and retracting mechanism. Simply move the thumb slide on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear. The action is smooth and fast.

Handle: A smooth, black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum frame and a Jade Green G10 composite top have ergonomic, contoured edges creating a comfortable in-hand feel and smooth transition in and out of your pocket. As the UTX-70 is much smaller and thinner jimping has been left off for a cleaner look making it an excellent choice for a Gentleman's OTF automatic. Handle construction is completed with Microtech's black proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production, Talon logo and Signature.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler's M390.
