The Microtech UTX-70 is 70% of the size of the standard Ultratech making this double action auto ideal for everyday carry when all you want is an ultra-compact out the front. Smallest in the iconic Ultratech family, the UTX-70 is at home nearly anywhere including your shirt pocket or denim jeans fifth pocket. This Signature Series version has a Violet anodized contoured handle and an Apocalyptic finished Hellhound Tanto blade.

Blade: The intimidating Hellhound tanto blade combines powerful cutting performance with an aggressive look. Premium stainless blade steel was chosen for its edge retention and corrosion resistant properties. Adding to the custom feel is the familiar Hellhound-grooved spine leading to the visually striking, up swept, false edge tip. The blade is finished with an Apocalyptic finish (blasted and tumbled) on the grinds with satin flats for classy yet rugged style. It deploys via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth.

Handle: Smooth, Violet hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum has rounded edges creating a comfortable feel in-hand and smooth transition in and out of your pocket. The UTX-70 is slimmer than the Ultratech or UTX-85 allowing it to be carried in a watch pocket or shirt pocket as well as via the clip. The handle's construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and Apocalyptic pocket clip with logo/signature/date of production.
