Microtech UTX-85 Black S/E 204P OTF Automatic Knife 231-1

The UTX-85 (15% smaller than an Ultratech or 85% the size of one) dual action out the front automatic knife from Microtech makes an even friendlier every day carry option. This version has a black contoured handle and Single Edge, Drop Point blade of CTS-204P with black Cerakote finish.

Blade: Equipped with a two-tone black/satin finish, the drop point blade has a plain, razor sharp single edge. The drop point is highly functional and built from premium, American CTS-204P stainless steel. The grinds and fullers have a black ceramic coating while the flats and spine were left satin. The 3.125 inch blade features a double action opening and retracting mechanism. Simply move the thumb slide on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear. The action is smooth and fast. 

Handle: Smooth, black coated 6061-T6 aluminum has improved rounded edges creating not only a comfortable feel in-hand but a smooth transition in and out of your pocket. There are several areas of machine-grooved texturing around the outsides aiding in grip. This lighter more ergonomic grip is easy on the hands and eyes. The handle's construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and blasted pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production. 

CTS-204P: A highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler's M390.
