This version comes with a hand rubbed satin CPM-154 stainless steel spear point blade and burgundy linen Micarta handle scales.

Blade: A perfect hunter's blade, the utilitarian spear point has a fine tip, slicing shallow hollow grind and subtle recurve cutting edge. The spear point swedge trades a small amount of durability at the tip for enhanced piercing performance and a shorter grind for balanced overall performance. Coming in at about 7/8" wide, the blade is narrow enough for skinning tasks and durable enough for heavier work. CPM-154 provides a good balance of performance and is equipped with a hand rubbed satin finish for a classy, custom feel. Jimping at the spine delivers a solid thumb rest with enhanced traction while a subtle guard on the ricasso offers added safety.

Handle: Simple and ergonomic, the linen Micarta scales are fully contoured for a hand filling handle that is comfortable in nearly any grip. The subtle guard, generous palm swell and birds beak pommel help secure the knife in your grip while still allowing for comfort and maneuverability for a variety of tasks. Linen Micarta has a handsome visual appeal with modern performance for a durable and weather resistant handle. Dual polished stainless steel tubes fix the handle and allow for lanyard attachment.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
