Custom maker Mike Irie's knife making skills shine through on each and every piece he makes. From grinding to finishing, quality materials to fitting it all together you'd be hard-pressed to find a better-made custom user knife. His Model 1 folders are no exception.
The Blade: Just about 3.25 inches of premium cutting edge on this drop point hunter. Mike has ground an upper swedge near the spine and given it his familiar horizontal hand rubbed satin finish. Smooth opening via a single Tiger's Eye cabochon inlaid thumb stud. Accents are everything improving the overall handsome appeal of the Model 1. An angled thumb ramp has light jimping for a positive grip.
The Handle: Devin Thomas Twist Damascus bolsters meet up with Desert Ironwood handle scales creating a comfortable feel and appealing look. Bronze torx screws secure these materials to blue/gold anodized Titanium liners with one forming the lockup. The bronze 1095 backspacer has been hand-filed adding that personal touch. Serialized #335 near the notching on the liner lock.
Attached to this beauty is an Acid Etched pocket clip for tip up pocket carry. It comes in a zipper pouch with Signed Specs Card from the maker.
This handsome hunter from Mike is ready to go wherever you do.
