Designed by renowned American custom knife maker Mike Irie, the UC-2 (Urban Carry Model 2) is a medium-sized fixed blade compact enough for everyday carry while being robust enough to be a formidable defensive tool. Visually dramatic, the Harpoon Tanto profile is surprisingly versatile. This knife is suitable for hunting and outdoor use as well, with custom level fit and finish that is at home in any collection. This version comes with a hand rubbed satin finished blade and green canvas Micarta handle scales.

Blade: The CPM-154 blade is a compound ground, harpoon tip, recurve Tanto that offers versatility in its function. The tip is full thickness with a shallow hollow grind for enhanced durability in piercing tasks, offering fine control via the forward edge for detail work. The hollow ground recurve edge behind the Tanto point will slice well and pulls material into the cutting edge for more efficiency in use. A false edge on the spine reduces weight, enhancing balance in the hand.

Handle: Green canvas Micarta scales are secured to the full tang via a single stainless pin and a hollow tube which allows for lanyard attachment. Both sides have been polished and contoured to give the knife an attractive appearance and ergonomic feel in the hand. The handle is well-balanced and comfortable in a variety of grips, while the deep index finger groove pairs with the jimped thumb ramp for added security.

Carries via a 3-layer carbon fiber textured Kydex sheath with integral belt loop and eyelets.

CPM-154: A particle metallurgy (PM) version of Crucible 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process. A great all-around blade steel, CPM-154 has D2 level edge retention, AEB-L level corrosion resistance and comparable toughness to other PM stainless steels with ease of sharpening/finishing.
