Blade: A simple drop point blade is made from mirror polished VG10 stainless steel with a shallow hollow grind perfect for light daily cutting tasks. Opening is smooth via a classic nail nick.
Handle: Brushed stainless steel liners house the blade and back spring and support matching bolsters framing the ironwood scales. The front scale is inlaid with a feather of pearl and abalone outlined in silver for added visual appeal. The lock back is solid and smooth for reliable operation and secure use. A bail at the pommel allows for lanyard attachment.
No clip. Includes a leather lined black canvas belt pouch for carry.
Japanese VG10: VG-10 is a high-carbon stainless steel that takes a very good edge and holds it well. Popular with Japanese kitchen knife makers it is often hardened to 60-61 HRC. A popular choice for small pocket knives thanks to good edge holding and stain resistance VG10 works well with a high polished, acute edge for optimal slicing performance.
