The Morakniv Floating Knife is a cork handled fixed blade knife perfect for fishing, kayaking or rafting. Hi-Viz orange polymer used in the core of the handle and sheath allows for easy location of the knife in outdoor and aquatic environments. This version comes with a serrated edge, Sandvik 12c27 stainless steel blade with blunt tip for safety.

Blade: The thin, serrated edge blade is made of high quality Sandvik stainless steel and is designed to handle the cutting of rope, fibers, and nylon. The blade has a rounded "safety" tip that helps prevent injuries as well as avoiding damage to inflatable water craft.

Handle: A hi-viz polymer core is wrapped in natural cork. Cork is an impermeable buoyant material that is fire resistant and offers thermal insulation making it an excellent choice for the handle of an outdoor knife. The Floating Mora is exceptionally lightweight (under 3 oz. with sheath) making it easy to carry, an excellent choice for camping or hiking. Easily connected to belt, backpack or lifesaving vest, the knife carries securely in its sheath via clip or traditional button attachment. The smart button design allows several knives from the Craft line to be connected in series for your custom combination.

Sandvik 12c27: 12c27 is a high purity Swedish stainless steel with excellent edge performance allowing for razor sharpness, high hardness, exceptional toughness and good corrosion resistance. In addition to knives 12c27 is used in high-end ice skate blades and ice drills. Working hardness range is 54-61 HRC depending on the end use.
