Brand new, direct from Morakniv of Sweden.

Blade: The thick stainless steel blade of the 175 is a powerful hawkbill style blade that terminates in a talon-like point. Paired with the scandi-grind and razor sharp edge the Carpet/Roofing knife is a powerful tool that makes quick work of even the most tenacious materials. Comes scary sharp from the Mora factory in Sweden.

Handle: Mora has always been known for making comfortable handles and the Carpet Knife is no exception. The generous guard and pinkie swell keep your fingers off the razor sharp blade and lock the knife securely in the hand. The handle was designed in collaboration with various professionals within the construction industry to deliver the maximum pulling force to the blade. The polymer handle is nearly impervious to the elements, easy to clean and highly durable.

Sheath: Comes with a polymer blade cover for carry/storage.

Sandvik 12c27: 12c27 is a high purity Swedish stainless steel with excellent edge performance allowing for razor sharpness, high hardness, exceptional toughness and good corrosion resistance. In addition to knives 12c27 is used in high-end ice skate blades and ice drills. Working hardness range is 54-61 HRC depending on the end use.
