Northfield UN-X-LD #72 Cody Scout African Blackwood

#72 Cody Scout knife pattern by Northfield UN-X-LD with handsome African Blackwood handle scales. This is a great medium-sized folder featuring a dependable lockback mechanism to keep the blade locked in the open position. It's brand new directly from Great Eastern Cutlery.

The Blade: Satin finished high carbon steel is easy to sharpen and hard-working. The Northfield logo is proudly engraved on the front. Crafted in the clip blade shape offering every day utility with added upper swedge grind. A long nail pull down the first half of the blade makes for easy operation. Opens fully with a solid "thwack" of the lock and ready to get cutting!

The Handle: The blackwood is dark and has great character with a solid fine grain structure. It's texture is smooth and incredibly comfortable to grip. Well-rounded with smooth edges and secured to brass liners via brass pins. This is a single striped nickel silver bolster design with locking mechanism near the bottom of the handle. Simply press in to unlock and close the blade. A traditional nickel silver shield is proudly displayed on the front scale. 

The Cody Scout Lockback comes in a tube with company information on the front and wax paper wrapper for protection.
