The Blade: Polished sheepsfoot style blade for utility cutting with a front side long nail nick. The tang is stamped Northfield UN-X-LD made in USA on the front and pattern number on the back side. Frozen forged and hammer tested carbon steel blade holds a good edge and is easy to sharpen.

The Handle: Notched handle gives easy access to grab hold of the blade for easy opening, and perfect for those with short finger nails. A strong back spring and positive half-stop gives the knife user confidence in the operation of the knife. Pretty jigged bone handle scales gives a classy traditional look and are set off by the single grooved and pinched bolster. Northfield knives are assembled the traditional way with brass bins attaching the scales to brass liners.
