The Olamic Cutlery Tanto is an exquisite custom specimen crafted using hand-forged High Carbon Vanadium Damascus with a handsome Honrbeam handle and sheath. Inspired by traditional Japanese designs this Tanto is a modern interpretation and features matching Damascus fittings.

The Blade: The traditional drop point blade profile is made from High Carbon Vanadium Damascus (HCVD) steel that utilizes Olamic's proprietary process for excellent edge retention and durability. The hidden tang blade has a very shallow hollow grind offering great slicing and utility capabilities. A flat choil area offers enhanced control for detail work.

The Handle: The Hornbeam wood handle has the traditional tapering oval design that provides a surprising level of traction in the hand despite the smoothness of the wood. The beautiful handle highlights the Damascus bolster and pommel fittings. A solid piece of Hornbeam was utilized to facilitate the hidden tang construction which also reduces the overall weight.

The Sheath: The sheath is also made from Hornbeam to match the handle and provides safe and secure carry.
