Blade: A long sweeping modified spear point, the blade is made from Bohler's Elmax stainless steel with a clean satin finish. It is flat ground to the fullers for excellent slicing performance on the nearly four inches of cutting edge. The blade opens quickly via the subtly jimped flipper tab with spot on medium detent riding on an internal bearings pivot system. Construction utilizes an internal stop pin built into the blade for a clean look and robust operation. This sleek slicer has a nice bit of belly and solid piercing tip.

Handle: Two solid slabs of titanium form the handle with comfortable ergonomics and style to spare. The contoured handles offer plenty of grip for larger hands. The matte grey light blast finish is clean and offers a nice contrast to the striking inlay of Rietveld DragonSkin Damascus. The inlay is complemented with blue anodized titanium hardware and floating file worked titanium back spacer. The inside of the spacer is marked "SWISH" and "S452". The scalloped lock bar is easy to operation while a steel insert on the face delivers a smooth and rock solid lock up. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a tip up, right hand titanium pocket clip with ceramic tension ball.

Bohler Elmax: Elmax has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. Elmax also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid corrosion (rust) by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Elmax has very similar performance to M390 and is used interchangeably by Microtech.
