The Wayfarer 247T Tanto is a custom-tech version of the ever-popular Olamic Cutlery folder. The excellent, ergonomic design, high-level fit and finish and premium materials on the Wayfarer make for a reliable EDC you'll want with you 24/7. While most of the knife is made in the USA, there is some machining done in Italy. This version comes with a satin finished, M390 Tanto blade and 3-Hole pattern handle in black and red GunKote titanium with matching hardware.

Blade: The Tanto blade is made from premium M390 stainless steel for high level wear and corrosion resistance delivering exceptional every day performance. A long swedge paired with the high saber grind gives the blade a fine, piercing point reinforced by the Tanto profile. The Satin finish is classy, clean and refined. The blade rides on bearings for outstanding action via an integral flipper tab which acts as a guard when open.

Handle: The ergonomic handle design locks the knife into the hand for secure use and all the edges are contoured to reduce hot spots. The handles have been given a black-over-red GunKote finish that is highlighted by the exposed red 3-Hole milling. The titanium frame lock has a steel lock face insert that holds the ceramic detent ball and has a tab that doubles as an over-travel stop. A red floating titanium backspacer has "WAYFARER 247T" and the serial number "T167T" on the inside. A nice lanyard hole cutout is included on the back of the handle along with GunKote coated titanium hardware matching the red and black color scheme. Includes an Olamic soft sided zipper pouch and certificate of authenticity.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
