Ontario SPEC Plus SP16 SPAX Orange Handle

The Ontario SPAX is a rugged tool capable of performing a variety of tasks from opening fire hydrants to chopping brush. Designed after crash axes used during WWII, the no nonsense 1/4" thick 1095 carbon steel blade has been black epoxy coated for a non-reflective finish. A cutout in the middle of the blade can open fire hydrants and gas valves making it an ideal backup for first responders. The ergonomic high visibility orange kraton handle offers comfort for long periods of use and is also secure in a gloved hand. Includes a leather and cordura sheath with snap closure.
