Blade: The Klax delivers over two inches of razor sharp cutting edge thanks to a high flat grind and tall blade. The plain edge offers powerful slicing with a thumb scoop for added leverage, while a jimped thumb ramp and integral guard provide control and added safety. The hawkbill profile excels at slicing, pulling material into the curved cutting edge while still retaining a solid point for piercing and fine work. Two-tone satin cryo treated AEB-L gives a classy look with solid performance and an easy to maintain razor sharp edge.

Handle: Supported by the full tang, dual contoured G10 scales are attached with Torx screws over blue liners for a solid and secure handle with plenty of visual appeal. The deep choil and pronounced pommel swell lock the knife in a solid three finger grip. An attached inline braided lanyard extends the grip area for larger hands and added security in heavy use.

Carries via a custom molded Kydex sheath with leather scout carry loop. Includes two belt loops and neck lanyard.

Bohler AEB-L: Originally developed for razor blades and often described as a stainless 52100, AEB-L takes a very fine edge, is easy to sharpen and has a high toughness with good corrosion resistance and better edge holding than carbon steels. Excellent edge stability (resistance to rolling and chipping) allows for a thinner edge and better cutting performance. AEB-L is produced by Sandvik as 13C26.
