Protech's BR-1 Magic Carbon Fiber Bolster Release automatic knife has a hidden secret that, once you've mastered, you'll want with you every day. Ingeniously designed by Mike "Whiskers" Allen, the BR-1.21 has a textured bolster that acts as the actuator, lock and release. Simply apply pressure with your thumb to the right to open and close using the Magic Bolster. This version comes with a stonewashed 154cm blade and carbon fiber inlaid handle.

Blade: This common drop point provides ultimate daily utility built from easy-sharpening 154CM stainless steel. It's flat ground with a subtle top swedge and finished with a rugged stonewashed finish that reduces reflectivity and hides wear from use. Move the textured bolster ever so slightly up or to the right for fast, reliable automatic action. Once deployed, it's held solidly in place until you again move the bolster up unlocking the blade to fold closed. It's Magic!

Handle: Comfortably contoured hard coat black anodized aluminum has a polished carbon fiber inlay on the front for a stealthy and stylish look. The 'magic' bolster is textured to get a grip and connected to the long back spring lock bar for reliable operation. A generous lanyard hole and satin hardware round out the construction.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, DLC coated, deep carry stainless steel pocket clip.
