Protech's BR-1 Magic Bolster Release automatic knife has a hidden secret that, once you've mastered, you'll want with you every day. Ingeniously designed by Mike "Whiskers" Allen, the BR-1.5 has a smooth bolster that acts as the actuator, lock and release. Simply apply pressure with your thumb to the right to open and close using the Magic Bolster.

The Blade: This common drop point provides ultimate daily utility built from easy-sharpening 154CM stainless steel. It's flat ground with a subtle upper swedge and finished with a Black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating for superior protection. Move the textured bolster ever so slightly up or to the right for fast, reliable automatic action. Once deployed, it's held solidly in place until you again move the bolster up unlocking the blade to fold closed. It's Magic!
The Handle: Comfortably contoured hard coat black anodized aluminum creates lightweight durability over the long haul. The magic bolster is smooth for a discreet and classy look and feel. Each has a good-sized lanyard hole and deep carry tip up pocket clip.
