The Protech Knives CalMigo 2241 is a California Legal automatic knife that is one of the lightest and stoutest automatic knives available. This is a high performance Gentleman's automatic that carries like a feather and performs like a razor. The CalMigo features all the modern materials, high tech manufacturing, advanced coil spring mechanism, and American production quality that Protech prides itself on. This "Flag" variant has a DLC coated, plain edge blade made from 154CM and custom Vintage Flag anodization by Peter Kellett on the aluminum handles. This limited run is numbered and adorned with a mosaic pin on the push button.

Blade: The CalMigo comes with a California Legal, sub-2" blade made of American 154CM stainless steel. 154CM provides a great balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness making it an excellent choice for all around use. A handy drop point gives the CalMigo a utilitarian premise with fine point that can be used for detailed cutting tasks. The blade has a non-reflective Black DLC finish and straight plain cutting edge performance. The blade deploys via a push button operated coil spring mechanism that is fast and smooth for easy one-handed operation. It also includes a safety switch for confident carry.

Handle: A thick, tapered handle made of 6061-T6 Hard Anodized aluminum keeps the CalMigo compact and lightweight while still providing plenty of grip for secure use. The finger groove and notched spine make for one comfortable grip and there is a handy lanyard cutout near the end.  This Gentleman's knife disappears in the pocket and is at home in a pair of dress pants as it is in jeans. The "Flag" variant has a custom Vintage Flag pattern anodization done by Peter Kellett and a mosaic pin push button. Individually numbered on the finger groove.

Carries via a single position, tip-up, right-hand, black coated, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.
