Protech Emerson CQC-7A Blasted Spear Point Blade Blue Handle Automatic Knife E7A1-BLUE

This snappy collaboration between Emerson and Protech Knives is lightweight, tactical automatic that makes a great everyday carry. Built on a strong, lightweight blue aluminum handle framework the CQC-7A has a utilitarian Spear Point blade that flies out the side powered by a button operated coil spring mechanism. This version comes with a blue handle and bead-blasted, V-Ground 154cm blade.

Blade: Classic Emerson Spear Point blade is V-Ground for solid performance along with easy maintenance and features a super sharp plain cutting edge. The killer finish on this one is blasted matte grey for a nice contrast with the handle while still being non-reflective and discreet. It has all the look and feel of the classic Emerson with a finish you'll definitely appreciate. American Made 154CM stainless steel offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and easy field sharpening. The jimped thumb ramp adds traction and provides good indexing. The blade deploys in a flash with a simple press of the matte grey blasted button opener located just below the pivot screw on the show side of the handle. That button also locks the blade in place when in use. To close, simply press in the button again and fold the blade back into the handle.

Handle: 6061-T6 aluminum is aircraft grade for superior strength to weight ratio. These are thick slabs with a strength-increasing blue anodized finish patterned in the classic CQC-7 grip. Protech added notching on the spine to extend the thumb ramp off the blade for more controlled cutting. Includes an Emerson-style, long bead-blast pocket clip setup for right hand tip-up carry. Construction is rounded out with a lanyard hole and matte grey hardware.

Ships with a black Nylon Protech belt sheath for optional carry.
