Blade: Paired with a razor sharp chisel grind, the Tanto point delivers high-level durability while still providing solid cutting ability. Made from American 154CM stainless steel, the blade is Acid Wash finished, with a rugged, heavy tumble for a great looking, wear hiding, discreetly non-reflective finish. The chisel, mid-height saber grind offers a good mix of strength and performance that is a perfect fit with this tactical design. The blade deploys smooth and fast via a button operated coil spring mechanism.

Handle: Retaining the classic Emerson design, the handle frame is super tough 7075 aluminum with a black, Class III, military grade hard anodization. Exclusive to GPKnives, the standard aluminum top has been replaced with smooth green canvas Micarta for an upgraded look and feel. Jimping from the thumb ramp extends down the spine of the handle for added traction and control. This handle is secure and comfortable in a variety of grips and keeps the overall weight under 4 ounces for ease of carry. Smooth, reliable and intuitive, the button lock mechanism delivers secure operation during use.
