This Elite 20th Anniversary Limited Edition, 200 piece run of the TR-3 comes with machine textured handles, a black coated S35VN blade, black hardware and a Mother of Pearl inlaid satin button. Blade: The drop point blade is made of upgraded American CPM-S35VN stainless steel providing enhanced edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness for excellent every day performance. The high height saber grind offers exceptional slicing performance with balanced durability while the top swedge delivers powerful piercing performance. The plain edge blade is equipped with a matte black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating that resists wear and corrosion and offers added discretion for use. The blade deploys via a push button operated coil spring mechanism that is fast and smooth for easy one-handed operation.

Handle: 6061-T6 Anodized aluminum makes the Tactical Response both tough and lightweight with a black hard anodized finish that is durable and non-reflective. Milled texturing on the front of the handle provides a comfortable and secure grip in the hand with subtle jimping for indexing as well as enhanced traction. Black hardware rounds out the construction of this truly tactical automatic folder with the satin button lock dressed up with with a Mother of Pearl inlay. The back of the handle is also engraved "PT 20".

Carries via a black DLC coated, stainless steel pocket clip set up for right hand, tip-up only carry.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V. The inclusion of Niobium allows for the formation of niobium carbides along with vanadium and chromium carbides. Substituting niobium carbides for some of the vanadium carbides makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
