Built rugged for hard use environments the QSP Penguin is a rock solid everyday carry liner lock folder. Built on a tried and true liner lock construction the Penguin pairs a robust D2 Sheepsfoot blade with flat scales and a secure, neutral handle design for versatility and ease of carry. This version comes with a two-tone satin finished D2 tool steel blade and carbon fiber overlaid G10 handle scales.

Blade: Made from D2 tool steel the Sheepfoot blade rides smooth on the robust copper washer pivot with dual thumb studs delivering ambidextrous one-hand operation. The high saber grind and relatively thin stock deliver excellent slicing performance with solid durability and a fine tip for piercing and detail work. A two-tone satin finish and chamfered edges on the spine give the blade a classy look while the jimping on the spine provides added traction and security.

Handle: Skeletonized stainless steel liners support rugged G10 handle scales for modern durability with carbon fiber overlays for gentleman's style. Chamfered edges offer a comfortable in hand feel with a subtle guard for safety. The neutral handle design is comfortable in multiple grips for added versatility while a jimped liner lock offers ease of operation and secure lockup for safe use. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
