The Exoskeleton Design Reate EXO is a simple and ingenious manual out-the-front knife. Essentially a three-piece construction, the EXO consists of a blasted gray titanium frame, matching Micarta inlaid yoke and the two-tone Elmax blade. Operation is simple: hold the yoke in a pinch grip and let the frame drop. The blade slides freely in its track in the frame, tip the handle down to deploy and up to retract. Hold the frame and yoke together to secure the blade pin for use or carry. This version has a single edge Tanto point blade and black canvas Micarta inlays.

Blade: Clean and simple, the Elmax blade has a handsome two-tone satin finish. Equipped with a balanced high saber grind, the Tanto blade has a single clean slicing plain edge and robust point for piercing. The forward edge of the Tanto works well for cutting on flat surfaces and creates a secondary “point” useful for a variety of tasks.  

Handle: With integral billet titanium construction on both yoke and frame and a large titanium pivot/stop pin the handle delivers exceptional strength. The simple design is easy to clean and maintain. While the knife is non-locking, the blade holds secure in position while gripping the handle. Strategic jimping and milled canvas Micarta inlays ensure positive retention during use.
