Reate Knives has joined forces once again with the brilliant designer Tashi Bharucha to bring you the a more compact version of his custom Machine model: The Baby Machine. This knife bears Bharucha's signature style with sleek and modern lines and unparalleled ergonomics. The unique handle design makes for a comfortable user experience and optimal slicing performance.

The Blade: Produced by Damasteel of Sweden, RWL34 takes an amazingly sharp edge with enhanced performance thanks to David's proprietary cryogenic heat treatment technique. During grinding, the temperature on the edge is controlled to a precise degree which helps maintain hardness after heat treat assuring optimal performance. The tall blade sports a satin finished full flat grind making this Baby a slicing Machine. The generous swedge offers excellent piercing while retaining strength in the blade. A huge, rounded trapezoid blade hole allows for multiple deployment options.

The Handle: Two solid slabs of titanium fit together perfectly at the spine giving the appearance of an integral design. The handle slabs are finished with a dark grey bead blast for discreet carry and a great in-hand feel and held together with titanium Torx hardware. Milled divots on both sides of the handle are polished for a nice visual contrast and add traction in the hand. The negative angle locks the handle into the hand and combined with the scoop on the spine increases power in slicing tasks. Large holes located at the pommel end allow for lanyard attachment.

A 3D Machined Ti Pocket Clip echos the milled divot pattern and is set up for right hand, tip-up only carry.
