Designed and built with precision by Reate Knives the Bushido front flipper is a modern liner lock folder that takes its inspiration from classic Japanese weapons such as the Katana and Kwaiken. Simple and elegant, the Bushido has a compact footprint for daily carry with smooth front flipper deployment, titanium liner construction and a premium M390 stainless steel blade. This version comes with brown burlap Micarta scales, gray liners and a fine stonewashed blade.

Blade: Made from premium Bohler M390 stainless steel, the blade has the profile of a classic Japanese cutting tool with a subtly up swept point and continuously curving edge. A nearly full height flat grind delivers excellent slicing performance while the full length spine swedge tapers the blade to a fine piercing point. Riding smoothly on a ceramic bearing pivot the blade is deployed with a front flipper tab. Simply rotate the tab toward the spine of the knife with your thumb for controlled deployment, fast or slow. Blasted and tumbled, the 'elaborate' stonewashed finish delivers a rugged yet stylish look.

Handle: Matte gray titanium liners ride proud to the polished brown burlap Micarta scales for a more contoured in-hand feel without the need for a thicker handle. The gently curving handle design is secure and comfortable in multiple grips. One of the liners forms the locking mechanism which is reliably secure and simple to operate. Construction is rounded out with a jimped partial back spacer and generous lanyard hole.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up only, 3D machined titanium pocket clip.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end, user grade knives thanks to its high level edge retention and exceptional corrosion resistance making it very low maintenance. It also resists burr formation for greater ease of sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and CPM-20CV.
