Details
The Horizon D Carbon Fiber & M390 is an evolution of the Reate brand designed in the image of the original and first produced Horizon. With a precision 3D machined carbon fiber and titanium handle, the Horizon D has been executed to meet first-rate fit, finish and function specifications. Measuring a touch toward the large end for a folder, it still maintains a lightweight and solid in hand feel you'll want in your carry rotation. Brand new directly from Reate Knives.
The Blade: Flat ground with and tumbled finished M390 stainless steel form the blade and integral flipper. Accenting fuller also runs the length of the blade. Riding on a multi-row black ceramic ball bearing pivot system, the blade flies open with a nudge on the flipper - no wrist action required.
The Handle: The Horizon D has a precision 3D machined carbon fiber front with titanium back scale forming a frame lock. Replaceable hardened steel lock face housed within the handle helps extend the longevity of the lock and also acts to protect against overtravel of the lockbar. Blue anodized titanium backspacer brings the piece together with the help of blue anodized hardware, while the uniquely anodized blue/bronze pivot collar offers one last added touch. A matching anodized milled titanium clip has been attached for tip-up pocket carry.
The Pouch: Includes a Nylon zipper pouch with fleece soft and inside pocket. Reate Knives has been stitched on the front side of the pouch for stylish carry or safe keeping.
