Hinderer Knives Black DLC Jurassic S35VN Spear Point Black G10

The Black DLC Jurassic from Rick Hinderer Knives has all the curves and humps of something you might find from the Mesozoic Era, but fits right in with its 21st Century brethren. Rick outfitted this model with a nice wide spear point blade sporting a reinforced high height saber grind. It works well with the humpbacked handle which features a "reptile" pattern G10 scale.

The Blade: The spear point blade has enough belly to tackle everyday tasks while being robust enough for heavy field work. It is fully black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated for low reflectivity with dual thumb stud/integral flipper tab deployment. It has a slightly raised thumb ramp with over half an inch of comfortable jimping. The flipping action is smooth and easy.

The Handle: The full titanium frame lock side and liner have matching Black DLC finish with the show side dressed in a "reptile skin" textured Black G10 handle scale. The ergonomics are fantastic with dual finger grooves on the bottom and a nice scoop to rest your thumb on the top. Construction on the Jurassic features a single barrel spacer midway down the spine with a blue Ti lanyard loop back spacer at the end. 

The Jurassic Flipper includes the innovative Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer, M.B.S. (Modular Backspacer System) and two position (up or down) right hand carry clip.
