Blade: This Spanto is built from high performance, American CPM-S35VN for optimal performance and finished in a beautiful Working (blasted/tumbled) Finish for rugged good looks. Rick isn't new to the bali game and is serious when he says he is out to build the best one on the market. The wicked Spanto point and sabre grind are all performance with the perfect size/balance. The blade rides on phosphor bronze washers for smooth, reliable operation.

Handle: Solid titanium handle scales are milled with a traditional hole pattern and delivered in a blade-matching Working finish.Ti inserts bring together the Sandwich construction and traditional T latch for reliably lockup. The handles have a solid heft for fast, smooth cycling.

CPM S35VN: Designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V, S35VN substitutes niobium for vanadium delivering an increase in toughness of about 15-20% with no appreciable loss of wear resistance. Increased toughness means better resistance to edge chipping. Corrosion resistance is on par with S30V.
