Blade: The UCAP has a CNC machined blade made from tough Nitro-V Stainless Steel with a razor sharp, hollow ground edge. Nitro-V is a high-toughness stainless steel that delivers a razor sharp cutting edge the way a classic carbon steel does. The blade is coated with Tungsten Cerakote for a non-reflective and corrosion resistant finish. Dual fullers contribute to a well-balanced blade. The prominent top swedge delivers powerful piercing performance while the thin stock paired with the tall blade offers powerful slicing performance.

Handle: 3D machined Dirty Olive (green and black layered) G10 scales are contoured and textured for a secure and ergonomic grip attached with flared pins to the full tang handle which facilitate lanyard attachment. Targeted areas of jimping provide sightless indexing and added traction. The handle ergonomics are enhanced by the chamfered spine being proud to the scales giving a fuller in-hand feel.

Sheath: The UCAP comes with a custom molded Kydex sheath with "Pull-The-Dot" snap, Scout carry Biothane strap.

Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Nitro-V is essentially AEB-L with a dash of Nitrogen and Vanadium thrown in for enhanced performance. What you get is a very fine-grained steel that is easy to sharpen, has good edge retention and excellent edge stability allowing for a very fine, high performance slicing edge. Thanks to the inclusion of Nitrogen corrosion resistance is superb.
