Blade: Made from tough Nitro-V stainless steel with a razor sharp edge the blade on this UCAP has been hand textured for a striking look and coated with Black Elite Cerakote. Cerakote is a durable, poly-ceramic coating that resists wear and corrosion while being discreetly non-reflective. Dual fullers contribute to a well-balanced blade while a prominent top swedge delivers powerful piercing performance. The thin stock and tall blade offers powerful slicing performance with good durability thanks to the toughness of Nitro-V.

Handle: 3D machined Black G10 scales are contoured and textured for a secure and ergonomic grip and attached with upgraded hardware to the skeletonized full tang handle. The new hardware allows for fast and easy removal of the scales with a simple flat head screwdriver for cleaning, maintenance and scale changes. Targeted areas of jimping provide sightless indexing and added traction. The handle ergonomics are enhanced by the chamfered spine being proud to the scales giving a fuller in-hand feel.

Sheath: Includes molded Kydex sheath with Pull-The-Dot snap and scout carry Biothane straps.

Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Nitro-V is essentially AEB-L with a dash of Nitrogen and Vanadium thrown in for enhanced performance. What you get is a very fine-grained steel that is easy to sharpen, has moderate edge retention and excellent edge stability allowing for a very fine, high performance slicing edge. This is one of the tougher stainless steels.
