Inspired by traditional, Japanese-style fixed blades, the RMJ Unmei offers a classic, time-tested design in the RMJ signature style. With a total package weight of just 6 ounces, the Unmei excels in a concealed carry or everyday carry role. Ryan's rendition of the Kwaiken style fits well in most environments and is a great companion for any adventure. This 'Explore More' Edition comes with a lighter 'Savage Stainless' Cerakote coated Nitro-V blade and Gray with Orange stripe G10 handle scales.

Blade: CNC machined made from Nitro-V stainless steel, the blade is equipped with a razor sharp, high hollow saber ground edge and coated with durable, poly-ceramic Savage Stainless Cerakote for a non-reflective, corrosion resistant finish. The slim blade makes the Unmei fast and light in the hand while the shallow hollow grind and subtle harpoon tip make this an efficient cutting tool for utility and defensive use.

Handle: Durable and weather-proof composite G10 scales are chamfered for comfort with milled grooves that offer a secure grip in adverse conditions. The scales are securely attached to the full tang handle with flared pins which also facilitate lanyard attachment. The handle ergonomics are enhanced by the chamfered spine being proud to the scales giving a fuller in-hand feel.

Sheath: Carries via a molded Kydex sheath with MAD straps for scout (horizontal) or IWB (vertical) carry. MOLLE and PALS compatible.

About Nitro-V Steel: Nitro-V is essentially AEB-L with a dash of Nitrogen and Vanadium thrown in for enhanced performance. What you get is a very fine-grained steel that is easy to sharpen, has good edge retention and excellent edge stability allowing for a very fine, high performance slicing edge. Thanks to the inclusion of Nitrogen corrosion resistance is superb.
