Sergey Rogovets Demon One-off CTS-XHP Engraved Titanium Top Flipper

The Rogovets Custom Demon is a One-Off Top Flipper with engraved and anodized titanium handle and premium, American CTS-XHP stainless steel blade is a truly handmade custom knife as Sergey makes each piece without the use of a CNC or waterjet machine. All of the work on this piece is done in his shop by him, by hand, from the heat treating of the blade to the manufacturing of parts. The Sergey Rogovets Demon is a massive folder that is a functional piece of art.

Blade: Thick, CTS-XHP stainless steel is executed in a massive, upswept Persian-style profile with a wicked harpoon swedge, two tone finished with a copper blade insert. The profane blade has horizontal satin finished flats and acid washed and tumbled saber grinds. Riding on caged ball bearings, the blade can be effortlessly deployed using the top flipper tab flipper which is hidden inside the handle when open. A razor sharp edge adds the final custom touch.

Handle: Built of two thick slabs of 6Al4v titanium, both the front and back of the handle are engraved with faux bolsters and "cracked earth" textured "scales". Both slabs are fully orange peel textured and anodized for a truly custom feel. A lock bar has been cut out of the lower frame which has an attached D2 tool steel lock face and ceramic detent ball. A matching milled titanium pocket clip, jimped zirconium backspacer, titanium hardware and custom pivot complete this piece.

You will find Sergey's signature with unique serial number 1888 inscribed on the inside of the zirconium spacer.

Includes a signed Certificate with warranty information, #10 Spanner bit and Black Pelican waterproof case for storage.

CTS-XHP: An ultra-high-carbon stainless steel that combines the exceptional corrosion resistance of 440C and wear resistance similar to D2. Thanks to the unique composition and its ability to attain a high hardness, CTS XHP has edge retention somewhere between S30V and ZDP 189. An excellent choice for any knife that is going to see a lot of use.
