The Blade: Chris chose the unique AEB-L stainless steel for this cleaver construction. AEB-L is like a stainless 52100. It is known for its ability to take a very fine edge (originally developed for razor blades) with an extreme high level of corrosion resistance. Its primary carbides are very large giving it excellent toughness, edge retention and ease of sharpening. Chris tumbled this one and gave the edge a high polishing for a super clean look. It operates via a single TiMascus thumb stud and a smooth ball bearings pivot system. 

The Handle: Full length titanium handle here with one forming the frame lock creating a sleek design. All the Ti is stonewashed with machine hole cutouts on the front scale. They're slim and easy to carry. More TiMascus accents with the barrel spacers and only onto the tip up single position Ti pocket clip. The curvy ergo's of the frame rest quite comfortably in the palm.
