Thick Iron Cealdish Currency

A heavy trapezoid shaped coin is made from pure iron and comes From the country of Ceald in the northwest of the Four Corners of Civilization comes the heavy iron Cealdish Drab. The earliest know to have a standardized currency, the Cealdim currency, it is theorized that their earliest money was simply sawn slices of metal ingots giving a trapezoid shape. Contemporary Cealdish currency can be used throughout the Four Corners and retains the same shape through custom and tradition. The face is stamped with a mountain and lake, the symbol of Ceald. Wilem, one of Kvothe's best friends and a student at The University, is Cealdish.

Minting process
Treated to look as if it has been handled and circulated, this process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science, coloring and patinas will vary. No two are exactly the same.
Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. A colorful description is included with history and facts about the coin.
