Honcho: noun as: a leader or manager; the person in charge. The Smith & Sons Honcho leads the outdoors with the flat-ground D2 tool steel blade that handles all manner of tasks with ease. Beefy yet ergonomic handles offer a secure and comfortable for extensive use. The Honcho comes standard with the Adventure Carry Sheath System, a modular sheath system providing multiple carry options and made from high quality, hand stitched leather. The Honcho and Adventure Carry Sheath are a match made in outdoor adventure heaven. This Honcho comes equipped with Black Canvas Micarta scales and Original Patina finished D2.

Blade: A sub-¹⁄₈" D2 Tool Steel blade is done in a full flat grind with a unique and interesting Original Patina finish on the grind with a contrasting satin spine. The height of the Skinner style blade gives the blade plenty of durability for light chopping while leaving it with a plenty of performance for slicing and fine work. Jimping at the spine near the handle adds traction for the thumb and enhances both security and control.

Handle: Black Canvas Micarta scales are supported by the full tang construction and paired with the pommel swell handle design gives this knife a great in-hand feel. The Honcho is comfortable enough for serious, extended use and a defined, contoured finger cutout provides great control. An index guard adds additional security in adverse conditions. Three flared brass pins hold the scales securely and provide attachment points for lashing or lanyards. The innovative lanyard track is outfitted with a black paracord lanyard which helps to draw the knife from the sheath.

D2 Tool Steel: An air-hardening, high-carbon, high-chromium steel. Extremely high wear-resistant properties with good corrosion resistance for a non-stainless steel. Clean and oil to prevent rust.
