Blade: Timeless and functional, the drop point profile D2 blade is fully flat ground for optimal slicing and piercing performance with balanced durability. Cryo treated for optimal performance, the blade is finished with a non-reflective Titanium Nitride coating that also enhances corrosion resistance. Deployment is fast, smooth and decisive thanks to the ambidextrous Assisted Thumb Stud deployment while jimping on the spine enhances control in use.

Handle: Durable, lightweight and weather resistant, the GRN handle scales are molded with a dot texture for grip and supported by stainless steel liners for solid rigidity. Innovative and ambidextrous the Assisted Technology (AT) XR Lock is easy and intuitive to operate and is able to withstand 1500 pounds of force for reliable, secure lock up and safety during heavy use. A spine mounted safety offers additional security and can be disengaged without changing your natural grip. Equipped with an exposed lanyard loop, the partial back spacer completes the construction along with black Torx hardware.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
