The Award Winning, USA-made SOG Seal FX is a large, high performance, full tang fixed blade version of the popular SOG XR folder design. You get the same durable, high traction polymer handles and high quality stainless steel blade in a more robust fixed blade platform with a well-designed sheath system for multiple secure carry options. This version comes with a black GRN handle and a Black Cerakote coated CPM-S35VN, partially serrated clip point blade.

Blade: Made from American, CPM-S35VN, the clip point profile blade is ground with a mid-height saber grind for solid durability with balanced slicing performance with a partially serrated edge that makes short work of tough, fibrous materials. The clip point swedge excels at piercing while being very effective for more controlled work. A large thumb scoop provides a solid platform for added leverage with aggressive jimping that extends the full length of the handle for optimal traction in the hand. Durable, black, poly-ceramic Cerakote coating gives the blade a corrosion resistant and non-reflective finish for discreet use.

Handle: Black Glass Reinforced Nylon handle scales are equipped with diamond texturing and jimping that matches the spine for excellent traction even when wet. GRN is durable, lightweight and impervious to the elements. An exposed pommel end can be used as a pry tool, glass breaker or impact device. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a Kydex sheath with a locking Tek-Lok or MOLLE clip (all included).

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
