Based on the Award Winning, USA-made SOG Seal FX, the Seal XR is a large, high performance, XR Lock flipper delivering robust strength in a folding knife package. Durable, high traction polymer handles are supported by full length, skeletonized stainless steel liners and house the high quality stainless steel blade. This version comes with a black GRN handle and a Black Cerakote coated, CPM-S35VN Clip Point blade.

Blade: Made from American, CPM-S35VN, the Clip Point profile blade is ground with a mid-height saber grind for solid durability with balanced slicing performance. The stout clip point excels at piercing while being very effective for more controlled work. A large thumb scoop provides a solid platform for added leverage with aggressive jimping that extends the full length of the handle for optimal traction in the hand. Durable, black, poly-ceramic Cerakote coating gives the blade a corrosion resistant and non-reflective finish for discreet use.

Handle: Black Glass Reinforced Nylon handle scales are equipped with diamond texturing and jimping that matches the spine for excellent traction even when wet. GRN is durable, lightweight and impervious to the elements. An exposed pommel end can be used as a pry tool, glass breaker or impact device. A generous hex hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up only, stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
